In 2008 – after trying out some other studies – I started studying journalism, option radio. A very interesting and hands-on course, where I learnt to hide my “rural Atwerp accent”. Once arrived on the job market in 2011, I started working in communications, which I did for about 10 years. When I noticed that I had lost my drive and that something was missing, I decided to change directions.
Because I am quite a social guy and because the HR sector had always interested me, I tried my luck and got hired as a Recruiter within a commercial company. A bit too commercial for me. Fortunately, THoM crossed my path at the right time, and I got the chance to start as a Corporate Recruiter. And I’m loving every second of it.
